What: Facilitator CHI CHW Core Curriculum
This is a 15-week course that will meet once a week for a 3-hour workshop and is intended for people who have experience in the community health worker field. It follows the basic course for comprehensive core skills, which most CHW topical or categorical programs do not provide. The specialty of this curriculum is its community orientation. This program will additionally educate the participant to be an instructor. Upon completing this program you will be able to:
- Obtain a certificate of completion in core community health worker skills.
- Develop a training program to prepare your community health workers to meet 21st century primary health needs
- Meet emerging community health needs with a comprehensive community focus
- Obtain the facilitator training book (value $50) for $15.00 upon course completion
